LDC Module 1: Zoning Districts & Uses
Review and weigh in on recommendations for the Land Development Code!
This Module 1 draft introduces updates to the lineup of zoning districts, including dimensional standards (building setbacks, height standards, lot coverage, etc.), and land uses allowed by right or by review in each district. All proposed revisions to the current Land Development Code reflect Plan 2040 (the City of Lawrence's Comprehensive Plan) and other area-specific planning efforts.
Thank you to the community members that reviewed Module 1 and provided feedback during the open comment period in July/August 2023! There will be more opportunities to submit feedback on these sections of the Code when the next Module is posted in November.
